Ontario Knives

Ontario Knife Company Logo

Ontario Knife Company is an American knife manufacturer originally from Ontario County, New York. The company was founded in 1889, making it one of the oldest American knife companies still in existence. Today Ontario is headquartered in Franklinville New York where the manufacture most of their knives. Ontario also works with some foreign manufacturers, mostly for their folding knives.

The company is probably best known for their line of military knives, and hard use outdoor fixed blade patterns. Ironically, I’ve mostly reviewed their folding knives, but I have the pleasure of owning one of their machetes, which is beastly.

    There new Black bird sk5 with the black coated blade and black G-10 handle is garbage don’t waste your money they should bring back the original one
