Spartan Blades

Spartan Blades is an American knife company headquartered in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Founded by retired U.S. Army Special Forces members Mark Carey and Curtis Iovito, the company specializes in U.S. produced fixed blades and folding knives. Founded in 2008, the company may be best known for their line of high end fixed blade knives. More recently the company has branched out into a variety of folding designs as well. Spartan Blades is a boutique brand, but their practical designs and uncompromising execution make them coveted among collectors and service members alike.

I recommend purchasing Spartan Blades at BladeHQ and KnifeArt. Purchasing knives through these links helps support BladeReviews.com and keeps the site going. Thanks!

Spartan Blade Works Pallas Review

Spartan Blade Works Pallas Review

Last Updated: August 8, 2019 Most of us who have been following Spartan Blades know the company started with high end fixed blade knives. A few years ago they launched the Akribis, a carbon fiber clad titanium framelock folder. I always appreciated the lines of the Akribis, but never got around to acquiring one. Although some ...

Spartan Blades Metis Review

Last Updated: September 7, 2019 Few companies have the pedigree that Spartan Blades does. I rarely hear them pop up in conversation among gear geeks, but that hasn’t stopped them from accumulating a small hoard of Blade Show awards. Between the aforementioned awards and the extensive Special Forces resumes of the two founders, I’m surprised they ...

Spartan Blades has a reputation of producing a premium product geared towards military applications. Founded by a duo of retired Special Forces operatives, I always considered Spartan Blades to have a unique position in the market. Their approach is simple: manufacture high end fixed blade combat knives in the USA out of premium materials. Buy ...

I ordered and paid for a knife on 11/07/18. Today is 11/24/18 and I have yet to see the knife. I received an Email from them saying I would receive the knife in 7-10 days. I was concerned after I purchased it to find that the knife was shipping from Pakistan! I have made several attempts to contact Spartan Knives with never receiving a reply. If it ever does arrive or when my money is refunded I will update.

Who did you order it from? Couldn’t have been direct from Spartan. They are in the US and their knives are US Made. No way you bought direct and they shipped you a knife from Pakistan!
