Well, it’s that time again. Black Friday is just around the corner with Cyber Monday to soon follow. Up until now (Wednesday the 21st) all has been relatively silent on the Black Friday front. So I can’t say I have tons of awesome deals lined up, but keep checking back and I will continue to update this post as the deals roll in. Feel free to let me know in the comments section if you find any more places running deals and I will add them to the list.
Cyber Monday Deals:
BladeHQ is gearing up for Cyber Monday. As of Saturday they have already begun adding some items to their Cyber Monday deals page but the scope of this sale is still up in the air. Apparently, they are adding stuff all the way up to the big day so keep your eyes peeled if a knife deal is what you are looking for.
KnifeCenter has their Cyber Monday deals page up. They have over 400 items on sale so with any luck there will be something you like.
CRKT is offering 20% off all full price gift certificates for the entire Black Friday to Cyber Monday 4 day shopping weekend as well as free shipping for all orders $50 and over. This is nice deal for people who prefer to buy factory direct!
FourSevens is a flashlight company, but they running a nice BlackFriday / Cyber Monday promotion offering an entire week of deals (and I figure most people into knives are also into lights). What they are doing is putting up a new deal every day, typically offering a light at 20-30% off. I snagged a Preon 2 last year for a good deal and it’s a light that hasn’t left my pocket yet. Definitely check them out if you are looking to “light up” the savings this holiday season.
Black Friday Deals:
BladeHQ is up to something, but they are keeping it pretty tight lipped. Last year they had a fairly epic sale on Benchmade knives (among other things) so keep your eyes peeled Friday for something good. This year they are are slowly trickling out their sale items on a special Black Friday sale page. The deals go live Thursday night at 11:59 so keep checking back to see if anything catches your eye.
KnifeCenter had some decent deals last year. I don’t remember them being super impressive, and it’s all a little hazy to be honest, but being one of the largest retailers online I suspect they will something pretty good. It’s worth noting that they currently have some Spyderco and Byrd blades on sale as part of a factory closeout special. Some nice deals in there for sure.
Amazon is of course running some crazy promotions. It’s a lot to follow but basically they will be running all sorts of “lighting” sales where they put up limited quantities of stuff for limited amounts of time. You may be able to score a good deal on something like a Spyderco Tenacious or a Kershaw Leek. If you have the time and desire to keep tabs on Amazon they will be running deals all week long. If I see anything especially good I’ll try to post about it here. Here is a link to their sports and outdoors section deals.
Knifeworks will be offering 5% off your entire purchase. This offer will begin Wednesday, November 21st, and will end at midnight Friday, November 23rd and is good for anything on Knifeworks. On it’s face this isn’t a crazy deal but maybe you have been eying something on Knifeworks for a while and this is that little extra to push you over the edge.
Final Thoughts
I snagged a couple nicely discounted knives last Black Friday, so I hope this will help you find a good deal if you are looking for a new knife yourself.
On a personal note, I will have a new knife review coming up shortly on the Fallkniven A1 – I’ve been busy with family and a new project so sorry for the lack of new content, but I definitely have some nice knives to share. Thanks so much for understanding and have an exceptional Holiday.

I just picked up a Kershaw Skyline fixed blade from BladeHQ for under $19.00+$5.99 shipping!
Awesome Rick! They have some nice deals in there (especially that Skyline – I’m tempted to grab one too). I think Cyber Monday is going to have an even bigger selection on sale.
Dan
Fixed Skylines are $18.99. I have one. Working on a review. Very good knife. Not so great sheath. But at the cost it is a very good deal.
It’s tempting RK… real tempting. Do you like yours? I am low on cash otherwise I’d already have one in my war chest.
It is an extremely good small fixed blade. As I’ve said, the sheath is crap and actually a bit dangerous to use. However, if you want to EDC a fixed blade there’s a good chance you’ll end up with a custom sheath anyway. For 20 bucks it is absolutely worth it. But if you’re short they’re still available at Cabelas for 30.
Thanks, RK. I’d like to grab one at some point. Looks like they sold out over at BHQ.
I didn’t see much in the way of any great black friday deals. Most of it was kinda ho-hum. maybe cyber monday will be better?
JD
That is what I am hoping for JD. They have some nice deals, but the selection isn’t that broad. In all fairness the best internet deals are supposed to be on Monday.
Dan
I will keep my fingers crossed. I would really like to see something nice come up. I fear that it is all just going to be a clearance of what never sells.
I am sure some of those types of deals will slip in (e.g., the ZT 0700), but I think they are also discounting all Benchmades in stock and also appear to have a few nice deals.
